Diwali Festival is Nov. 7

The India Association’s Diwali celebration, India’s traditional “Celebration of Lights,” will be held on Sunday, Nov. 7. The celebration will include a 4 p.m. cultural show at Leach Theatre, 6:15 p.m. fireworks behind the Engineering Management Building, and a delicious 9-course Indian dinner at 6:30 p.m. in the St. Pat’s Ballroom of the Havener
Center.
Get your tickets at the Leach Theatre Box Office from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 27, and Thursday, Oct. 28. Tickets to the cultural performance are $3 each; dinner tickets are $7 for students and $10 for the public. To avoid confusion, student tickets and public tickets will be sold at separate windows at the box office. Students will be asked to show their student IDs when purchasing tickets. Get your tickets early as they often quickly run out.
