Jennifer May, associate director of compliance for the University of Missouri-Columbia, and Paul Maguffee, counsel for the University of Missouri System, will give a presentation on export controls on Tuesday, Oct. 5. The presentation will be held from
2:30-3:30 p.m. in St. Pat’s Ballroom C of the Havener Center.
The lecture is geared toward faculty and staff members who conduct research, collaborate with foreign investigators, or teach or train foreign collaborators. Topics will include a description of export controls, university research that qualifies for exclusions or exemptions from regulation, and the process for obtaining a license.
