Boeing reps to discuss AI, IT on Monday

Grant Degenhardt, advanced tool manager for Boeing, will discuss “Artificial Intelligence and Information Technology,” from noon-1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 13, in Room 107A Fulton Hall. Topics will include the soft-computing and hard-computing aspects of artificial intelligence, gestural human-machine interfaces and advanced visualization. The lecture is sponsored by the Center for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), business and information technology and electrical and computer engineering.
Carl Schmitz, business systems analyst for Boeing, will discuss “The Balancing Act,” from 3-3:50 p.m. Monday, Sept. 13, in Room 105 Centennial Hall. Subjects will include the integration of business and information technology, resumes, which hard and soft skills are valuable and how to get and choose a job offer. This lecture is sponsored by the Center for ERP and the BIT Student Advisory Board.
