Missouri native Deidre Goodwin has appeared in eight Broadway shows and several film and television roles. The campus community is invited to join her as she shares her experiences at the following events:
- Noon on Wednesday, Sept. 8, in the Missouri-Ozark Room of the Havener Center. Bring your lunch and hear Goodwin discuss “Workplace Diversity in the New Millennium: A Perspective from the Arts.” As an African American native of the Midwest, she moved to New York City to follow her dream of becoming a dancer, despite having her first formal dance class as a college freshmen. Learn what she has discovered about working with individuals who come from different backgrounds, personalities and perspectives while working in the arts.
- 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 8, in St. Pat’s Ballroom of the Havener Center.
