Human resource services, in partnership with Healthy for Life, UM System’s wellness program, is sponsoring an Eat for Life workshop and course. The program benefits those who struggle with a chronic disease or illness related to food and/or weight, eat because of stress or boredom, or want to enjoy food more and not be so critical about their bodies.

At the workshop, participants can enroll in the Eat for Life 10-week online course for $50. For a limited time, a full refund will be given based on participation. Orientation begins the week of Sept. 20. The class runs from the week of Sept. 27 through the week of Nov. 29. The online 10-week course fulfills the participation category of the Miners on the Move initiative, which begins Sept. 15 and runs through June 30, 2011.
