Join your fellow employees and retirees at the Proud Miner Barbecue from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 20, in the Brewer Family Atrium in Toomey Hall. The event is a celebration of reaching and exceeding the $200 million goal in the Advancing Excellence Campaign.
Proud Miners are current and retired employees who have given to the campaign. There’s still time to make a donation – just donate $5 or more the day of the barbecue, or send your donation to Room 212 Parker Hall by Monday, Aug. 16, and note where you would like your gift designated.
RSVP for the barbecue to Kim Johnson at kaj@mst.edu or 341-6359.
These are three important reasons to give:

  • Gifts of every size make a difference. Added together, they make a significant direct impact on S&T’s students, faculty, facilities and programs.
  • Employee giving is a measure of S&T’s national rankings.
  • Employee investment in S&T encourages alumni and friends to join in with generous annual and major gifts.

Thanks to Lee’s Famous Recipe Chicken and Pepsi-Cola of Rolla for food and drink donations.
There will also be a free raffle drawing with great prizes, including S&T T-shirts, Walmart gift cards and a Central Federal Savings gift card. You need not be present to win.
The Advancing Excellence Campaign has been a 7-year, $200 million capital campaign to strengthen Missouri S&T’s position as one of the nation’s top technological research universities. S&T employees, alumni and friends together raised $211.8 million in the campaign.
