Summer science exhibit planned for students at FLW

Students interested in the fields of science and technology are invited to attend the Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) Exhibit Pavilion at Fort Leonard Wood from 1-3 p.m. Thursday, June 24. The student exhibition will be held in conjunction with the 2010 National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) Joint CBRN Conference and Exhibition.
The exhibition will focus on inspiring students to learn science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). Area schools and universities are invited to send students ages 12 and older (6th grade and above) to see how industry and the military use the sciences to protect the nation. School representatives may bring a few students – or a bus load – and the U.S. Army CBRN School will help them plan their visit.
