Faculty participation is vital when more than 1,100 new students will be on campus for the 2010 Opening Week Orientation. This is a great time for faculty to have lunch and meet with student mentor groups to discuss their expectations and classroom respect. The goal is to facilitate a positive interaction between new students and faculty.

This is your chance to give new students tips on how to be successful in the classroom. These meetings will be held Tuesday, Aug. 17, through Thursday, Aug. 19, during the following time slots: 10:45-11:25 a.m., 11:40-12:30 p.m., and 12:35-1:15 p.m. You may participate one or all of the days, in one or all time slots.
Participating faculty are asked to attend the faculty discussion and planning session scheduled from 1:30-2:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 16, in the Carver-Turner Room of the Havener Center.
