The Residence Hall Association, the Student Union Board and the Children’s Miracle Network will host a dance marathon from 8 p.m. Friday, April 30, through 2 a.m. Saturday, May 1, in the St. Pat’s Ballroom of the Havener Center. The Children’s Miracle Network raises funds and awareness for children’s hospitals and foundations throughout the world.

The object of the event is to be on your feet and up all night for young kids in treatment centers who sometimes must stay awake all night for treatments (without the stimulation of caffeine). Get involved, either by donating directly to the Children’s Miracle Network via S&T’s page on their website, by participating as a contestant in the dance, or by sponsoring a student contestant. Students are being asked to fundraise $20 as an entrance fee to the dance. Donations of any amount are welcome.
