Dr. Stewart Gillies, a candidate for the Wayne and Gayle Laufer Endowed Chair in Energy, will discuss “Evolving Research Targets and Real-Time Diesel Particulate Measurement, Clean Coal and Traditional Energy” at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 10, in Room 204 McNutt Hall. Gillies is the Union Pacific/Rocky Mountain Energy Professor in Mining Engineering and interim director of the Rock Mechanics and Explosives Research Center at S&T. A reception will be held in the McNutt Commons at 3 p.m., prior to the seminar. The campus community is invited to attend.
