These annual awards were established to recognize contributions to the continual improvement of S&T’s educational environment. All faculty and staff members who serve as academic advisors are eligible. Outstanding Academic Advisor Award recipients are eligible for the award every other year.
This acknowledgement of outstanding academic advising encourages greater support of advising activities on campus, reinforces the importance of advising excellence and provides incentives and motivation to improve the relationship between Missouri S&T students, faculty and staff. The Outstanding Academic Advisor Award is given to four faculty members, one staff advisor, one freshman advisor, one transfer student advisor, and one PRO advisor, resulting in eight annual awards.
If you have questions about the nomination process, please contact Dr. Mary Ann Koen in the office of undergraduate advising, 341-4735 or koenma@mst.edu.
