Peabody Energy reps to discuss ERP, provide interview insights on Friday

Due to inclement weather conditions, the following events that were originally scheduled for Friday, Feb. 5, have been rescheduled to Friday, Feb. 12.
The Center for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) invites the campus community to an informative lecture “ERP System Implementation: Peabody Energy’s Journey,” scheduled from noon-1:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 12, in Room 103 Engineering Management Building. Peabody’s management team, led by Gary Kalbfleisch, CIO, will share its creative strategies for talent management, discuss Peabody’s ERP system implementation experience, and address competitive advantages from Enterprise Portal implementation. Peabody’s representatives will also participate in an interactive behavior interview workshop from 2-3:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 12, in Room 213 Butler-Carlton Civil Engineering Hall. The workshop will include presentations, mock interviews, expert advice and discussion to provide insight into conquering behavior interviews. Peabody’s director of talent management, Susan Stith, and other members of its management team, led by Kalbfleisch, will provide advice during the workshop. The workshop is sponsored by the Center for ERP and the Career Opportunities Center.
