The documentary, “Traces of the Trade,” will be shown from 8-10 p.m. Monday, Feb. 22, in Room 125 Butler-Carlton Civil Engineering Hall. The film tells the story of a white family that traces the roots of its New England ancestors, the largest slave-trading family in U.S. history, to its ancestors in Africa. Find out how their journey into their past affects everyone’s future. A discussion will follow the film. This event is free and open to the public, and snacks will be provided.
