All across the state employees are embracing the Million Step Pedometer program and counting their steps. For $15 you get a pedometer and a log book to document your daily steps. Pedometers may be purchased from Jerry Parmeley in Room 113 Centennial Hall with cash or a check made to Healthy for Life. Once you reach 1 million steps, turn your log book in to Healthy for Life to receive a T-shirt, certificate and a $15 refund (which will be direct deposited into your bank account). You keep the pedometer. There is no time limit and immediate family members are welcome to join.
