Healthy for Life’s 10-week Eat for Life program that helps participants create healthy relationships between food, body and mind is now available online. Enrollment is now open for the session that begins on Monday, Jan. 25.

Audio and video components teach the foundational mindfulness practices (meditation and yoga) and the basics of mindful eating. If you have a history of chronic dieting, have rigid rules about eating, or find yourself eating when you’re stressed, bored, or unhappy, this may be the program for you. This non-judgmental, non-diet approach helps you use internal physical cues to guide what and when you eat. You only need a computer and the time. Participants will all go through the class at the same time and will have a week to complete each section. There are practice exercises to complete each day.
For more information or to sign up, email Angie Bodling at bodlinga@health.missouri.edu. Send a $60 check made payable to Healthy for Life to Angie Bodling at Healthy for Life, 205 Heinkel Building, University of Missouri, Columbia, MO 65211. After payment is received, you will be sent two books for the class. Online orientation will be Monday, Jan. 18. The 10-week course will begin the following week, on Monday, Jan. 25. Be sure to get your check in the mail so your course materials are received in time for the class.
