Seven Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) co-op students working at Monsanto Co. presented their co-op learning experience with the company on Monday, Dec. 7. The students were Protyush Banerjee, Shanky Bhandari, Sreehari Chandran, Rachel Kluesner, Anurag Nikhare, Anoop Ramamurthi and Pam Ryder.
Dr. Bih-Ru Lea and Dr. Barry Flachsbart from S&T’s business and information technology department and Marla Smith from the Career Opportunities Center attended the presentations as guests of Monsanto. Monsanto managers and other employees were highly complementary of the students’ achievements and the quality of S&T’s ERP program.
Currently 18 ERP students are working as co-op students at various ERP and SAP companies to apply knowledge learned in the classroom at the corporate workplace. As one of these employers, Monsanto Co. effectively makes use of co-op students and requires each to give a presentation on work done at the end of the co-op session.
