Wellness fair to include seasonal flu shots; screenings

Healthy for Life will host the annual Wellness Fair for faculty, staff and retirees from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 19, in the St. Pat’s Ballroom of the Havener Center. This year’s fair will focus on preventing diabetes and will include free screenings for all employees and family members for blood sugar, blood pressure, cholesterol and body mass index.
During the fair, UM Faculty and Staff Benefits will provide free seasonal flu shots to UM Choice Health Care members who bring their Coventry insurance cards; all others pay $26.
There will also be exhibitors with interactive tables and raffle drawings. A list of raffle items is available at www.umsystem.edu/ums/curators/wellness/docs/MST_Raffle_Prizes.pdf.
