University of Missouri System President Gary Forsee will visit Missouri S&T on Monday, Nov. 30, to conduct a town hall meeting from noon to 1 p.m. in St. Pat’s A&B of the Havener Center. The campus community is encouraged to attend the forum, but those unable to attend may listen to town hall live on their computers via public radio KMST. (RealAudio is required to listen to the live broadcast and may be downloaded from www.realaudio.com/. For those with RealAudio already installed, the direct link to the audio stream is www.kmst.org/raudio/forum.ram.)
Forsee will discuss current and projected economic conditions affecting the state and higher education. This will be a good opportunity to hear his analysis on the situation and to share suggestions on how we can build on our tradition of excellence and remain on course to accomplish our mission of preparing students to solve the problems of a technological world.
Students, faculty or staff members wishing to submit questions for Forsee to address during the town hall meeting may do so by emailing advocate@mst.edu by 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 30. Questions will be screened prior to submission to the president, and responses will be provided as time permits.
