Hagni honored by former department during Homecoming

Dr. Richard D. Hagni, Curators’ Professor emeritus of geology and geophysics, was honored during the program’s Homecoming Banquet on Oct. 22, with his family, former students and colleagues in attendance. Hagni retired in August 2000 after more than 40 years of service to Missouri S&T, 15 of them as chairman of the former geology and geophysics department. He is internationally renowned for his research in ore microscopy and ore deposits.
