Friday, Nov. 6, is Unity Day at S&T. This year’s theme is “Unity: What does it mean to you?” Events will be held from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Havener Center atrium.
This year, all S&T and Rolla community members are invited to submit artwork for display in the Unity Gallery during the celebration. Artwork may be in any medium, style or size, and more than one piece may be submitted. All artwork must be original with the artist’s name and email clearly and legibly marked on each submission. The submission deadline is 4:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 2, to the department of student life in Room 218 of the Havener Center. For more information, contact Erin Hood at hoodel@mst.edu.
The Unity Day committee is seeking musicians and dancers for a jam session scheduled from noon to 1 p.m. If you would like to participate, please contact Baheirah Khusheim at bhkrm4@mst.edu or Malinda Love at lovemc@mst.edu by Wednesday, Oct. 21.
