Roundtable discussions to focus on advising student groups

Student life announces its new Advisors’ Roundtable Discussion Series that will begin with “Advising New Advisors,” at noon on Wednesday, Sept. 16, in the Carver Room of the Havener Center. The series will focus on sharing strategies for successful advising of recognized student organizations. Whether a pro or a novice, you are invited to share and learn best practices for working with student groups.
Additional sessions include:
- “The Advisor’s Role in Effective Event Planning,” noon on Wednesday, Oct. 14
- “A Team Approach to Advising Hot Topics,” noon on Wednesday, Nov. 11.
