Help welcome sophomores back to campus on Aug. 23

The undergraduate studies’ office will greet incoming second-year students at the 2009 Sophomore Welcome, to be held from 1-3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 23, in St. Pat’s Ballroom of the Havener Center. All faculty and staff are invited to attend.
Tentative plans for the program include a pinning ceremony and addresses by Chancellor Carney and Vice Provost Collier.
An opportunities and resources fair will be held in the Miner Lounge of the Havener Center after the welcome program. Students will have the opportunity to help begin a new S&T tradition, reconnect with friends, enjoy snacks and register to win door prizes, including an iPod Nano.
