Funeral arrangements for John F. ‘Jack’ Burst

John F. “Jack” Burst, longtime adjunct professor in geological sciences and engineering, died Sunday, June 28. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. today, Wednesday, July 1, at Null & Son Funeral Home, 1010 Kingshighway in Rolla. The funeral will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, July 3, at the Carondelet United Church of Christ, 7423 Michigan Ave., St. Louis.
Burst received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in ceramic engineering from the university in 1943 and 1947, respectively.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Rolla Noon Rotary Club, in care of Null & Son Funeral Home.
