The 34th annual Joe Miner Sports Camp will be held next week, May 26-29. The camp is a series of physical development programs offered by Missouri S&T’s physical education department for girls and boys entering grades 3-8 in the fall. Programs include instruction and play in sports activities including archery, baseball and softball, golf, soccer, basketball, swimming, touch football, volleyball, and track and field.

Campers are asked to wear gym shoes and should bring the following items: swim suit and towel for recreational swimming and a fielder’s glove for baseball and softball. All other equipment will be furnished. Golfers may bring their own clubs if they wish; however, clubs will be available for those who do not have them.

Registration is $60 per person; $50 per person for two or more per family. Final registration will begin at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, May 26. Each camper will receive a Joe Miner Sports Camp gift.

Campers are asked to arrive by 8:45 a.m. for sessions that run from 9 a.m.-noon, Tuesday through Friday. Campers should be picked up promptly at noon each day. All sessions will meet in the Gale Bullman Multi-Purpose Building.
