The large weight room in the Gale Bullman Multi-Purpose Building will close on Thursday, April 2, for renovation of the fitness facilities. This will require relocation of equipment as follows:

— Cardio equipment in the small weight room will be moved to the upper level of the Student Recreation Center
— Weight equipment from the large weight room will be moved to the small weight room
— Other equipment may be moved to a yet-to-be-determined location and may be available at a later date
— Some pieces of equipment will be eliminated.

A core strength area will be created on the second floor of the Student Recreation Center in the open space above and outside the squash court.

The small room will be used by intercollegiate teams during the week until 7 p.m. The small weight room will be available for open use after 7 p.m. on weekdays and on the weekends during normal building hours. If another location is secured, weight equipment will be set up for open use throughout the day during the week.

This may cause inconvenience for the remainder of the semester and during the summer, but the finished result should be advantageous for all. The estimated completion date for the new fitness facilities is the start of the fall semester. Your patience and understanding is appreciated.
