Ramya Thiagarajan, an institutional research analyst in S&T’s office of institutional research and assessment, has been selected as a Fellow for the 2009 National Summer Data Policy Institute on the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) and National Science Foundation (NSF) databases. The Institute will be held June 21-27 at the William F. Bolger Center in Potomac, Md., near Washington, D.C.
Thiagarajan has extensive experience with Peoplesoft modules. She creates and maintains institutional research databases and generates simulation and statistical models for various research, analysis and reporting requirements. She has a master’s degree in computer applications. She was also recently elected a Fellow of the NSF and NCES supported National Summer Data Policy Institute conducted by the Association of Institutional Research Grant program.
