Human resource services will conduct training sessions on student PAF processing and the new student hiring process. There are three sessions scheduled by specific departments; personnel responsible for processing student hiring paperwork are asked to attend.

Topics to be discussed include new forms, “Student Release to Work” and “Student Request to Hire/Rehire,” and the new requirement for students to attend the new-hire workshop prior to beginning work, due to I-9 and e-verify regulations.

All sessions will be held in the Meramec-Gasconade Room of the Havener Center as follows:

— Departments within administrative services, student affairs, university advancement and the chancellor’s office are scheduled for 9-11 a.m. Tuesday, April 21.

— Non-academic divisions and departments under the provost, including enrollment management, distance and continuing education, graduate studies, information access and tech services (IATS), undergraduate studies and the provost’s office are scheduled for 9-11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 22.

— Academic departments under the provost and sponsored programs are scheduled for 1:30-3:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 22.

Please RSVP to Karen Chapman in human resource services at chapman@mst.edu.
