S&T energy initiatives to be discussed at Feb. 20 forum

Several Missouri S&T energy initiatives, including research and student design projects, are among the items to be discussed at the Public Forum on Renewable Energy to be held this Friday, Feb. 20, at the Phelps County Courthouse.
The event begins at 7 p.m. Presentations include a discussion on the implementation of Proposition C, the Missouri Clean Energy Initiative that was approved in the November general election; a discussion of wind power in Missouri; and Missouri S&T alternative and renewable energy research and projects. Representatives from AmerenUE, Rolla Municipal Utilities and Intercounty Electric Cooperative will also be on hand.
