Watkins recognized as SPIE senior member

Dr. Steve E. Watkins, professor of electrical and computer engineering, has been selected as a 2009 senior member of SPIE, The International Society for Optical Engineering. Watkins is in the first class of 20 members in the recently implemented senior category. He received bachelor’s and master’s degrees from S&T in electrical engineering in 1983 and 1985.
