Missouri S&T’s Tactical Plan calls for the creation of a task force to “imagine” future technological developments and practices and to recommend appropriate new degree and certificate programs. Dubbed the “Blue Sky Task Force” by the strategic planning group, the task force will prepare an annual report to the chancellor and to the campus.

There are no restrictions on membership for this task force — students, faculty, staff and other friends of the campus are eligible. The only requirements are a creative mind and broad reading habits. Self-nominations are encouraged.  

Please email nominations to Vice Provost for Academic Affairs Robert W. Schwartz at rschwartz@mst.edu, no later than Feb. 3. Nominations are asked to be no longer than one page and to include reasons for interest in serving on the committee and a brief description of the qualifications of the nominee for service to the university in this capacity.
