New photo policy available for review

The Missouri S&T communications office will support photography requests that advance the image of the university to external constituents. Professional photography coverage will be prioritized to ensure that campus-related images can be used in multiple internal and external publications and websites.
Internal events unrelated to the external promotion of Missouri S&T, such as banquets and receptions, will not receive professional photography coverage. However, to assist in these areas, the communications office will provide 1) snapshot-style photography ($25 per hour); 2) a list of reputable, freelance photographers; or 3) an easy-to-use “point and shoot” camera on loan.
A photo request form must be filled out and submitted for all assignments at least five working days in advance.
