Last-minute drive to help local food pantries

Patty Frisbee, director of new student programs, is spearheading a last-minute campuswide drive to get canned goods and other non-perishable food items for area food pantries. With the current economic conditions, area food pantries are falling short of their goals for helping the needy in our community this holiday season.
To help out in this last-minute food drive, all faculty and staff are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to the new student programs office (the ID office) at Room 106 Centennial Hall by 4:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 19. For more information, contact Frisbee at 341-7045.
