Good advising, like teaching, publications, and research, deserves acknowledgment. The Outstanding Academic Advising Award gives well-deserved recognition to academic advisors. The program’s goal is to encourage wider support and recognition for academic advising at S&T and to improve advising services for students.
Students, staff and faculty are encouraged to nominate advisors for the 2008-09 Outstanding Academic Advising Award. Some traits that might be included on the nomination form would be warm, caring, attentive and willing to help. Winners are selected by a committee.
