Applications to participate in the 2009 Chancellor’s Leadership Academy Class are due by Friday, Nov. 7. Class highlights will include professional skill development and experiential learning opportunities. Class members will also be able to interact with industry leaders, including Helen Hardy Pierce, vice president of code and industry relations for GAF Materials Corp. and Tim Vox, vice president of design and engineering for Seaworld Adventure Park.
Applicants must have graduated from high school in May or June 2008 with a grade point average of 3.0 or above on a scale of 4.0, and be available on Wednesdays from 4-6 p.m. during the spring and fall 2009 semesters.
