The campus is invited to a question-and-answer session with participating UM Tax Deferred Annuity (403(b)) Plan vendors from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 7, in the Carver-Turner Room of the Havener Center. The University of Missouri tax deferred investment department has invited the vendors to Missouri S&T to answer questions, provide more information about the UM 403(b) Plan and discuss important retirement issues. No appointment is necessary.

Planning for retirement can be confusing, overwhelming and easy to postpone. With the abundance of retirement plans available, it can be difficult to decide where to start. Recent changes in Internal Revenue Service rules governing 403(b) plans and corresponding changes in the vendors allowed to participate in the University of Missouri 403(b) Plan may have added to the sense of confusion. The campus is encouraged to take advantage of this unique opportunity to meet some UM 403(b) Plan vendor representatives.
