Solar Car Team to discuss experiences

Members of the Missouri S&T Solar Car Team will discuss their experiences in the 2008 North American Solar Challenge during a brown-bag lunch event at noon Thursday, Sept. 25, in St. Pat’s C of the Havener Center. Team members will display Solar Miner VI and hold a question-and-answer session for the public. In addition to talking about last July’s solar car race from Texas to Alberta, Canada, students will discuss solar technology, vehicle design and construction. The group will also recognize the roles key sponsors, including the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, play in supporting the team’s ambitious endeavors.
