Last year our campus bought almost 10 million sheets of paper. Last month 45,000 pages were printed
in our computer learning centers. How can we reduce these numbers? Environmental health and safety suggests you first, set department printers to a duplex default. Second, consider the environment before you print.
Missouri S&T’s Environmental Management System (EMS) is based on continual improvement. Our goal is to reduce paper usage by 40 percent by the end of the year. You can help.
Remember, print less, duplex often. More information about our paper reduction efforts will be available in the coming weeks. Help do your part to make Missouri S&T “green”.
