Seminar for understanding poverty offered

South Central Regional Professional Development Center is sponsoring a two-day seminar titled "A Framework for Understanding Poverty with Learning Structures" on Wednesday, Aug. 6 and Thursday, Aug. 7. Instructor Rita F. Pierson, Ed.D., of Houston, Texas, will facilitate this seminar based on the book by Ruby K. Payne. Registration is free for faculty, staff and students.
