Get the latest on Missouri S&T’s solar car team as it competes in the North American Solar Challenge, a 2,400-mile journey from Plano, Texas, to Calgary, Canada. The race began Sunday morning with S&T’s Solar Miner VI taking off in the No. 3 position. The team ended up spending the night on the outskirts of Vinita, Okla., on the way to today’s staged stop at Neosho, Mo.
Follow the action on the Solar42 blog, where the communications staff’s Lance Feyh will post updates, and on Experience This!, the official student design team blog. There, Bob Phelan is posting updates and some great photos (like the one above, taken along the Plano route Sunday morning).
