Memorial garden planned to honor Gary Thomas

A memorial garden is planned to commemorate former chancellor Gary Thomas’s significant contribution to Missouri S&T. Dr. Thomas was an avid gardener and hired the university’s first landscape architect. The garden will be located between the Havener Center and Toomey Hall – two buildings he helped bring to our campus. Dr. Thomas said that when parents see how well we care for our campus, they know we will care for their child. Contributions to this garden may be sent to University Advancement Records, 112 Campus Support Facility.
