The campus process for obtaining the services of a consultant has undergone a substantial revision. The new process now in place is described online.
In addition, a relatively new process for agreements for the services of speakers is now available for use. It simplifies the process previously used for such agreements.
These are just two of a variety of types of agreements necessary for conducting Missouri S&T activities, but there are a limited number of individuals to whom authority has been delegated to sign such agreements for the campus on behalf of the Curators of the University of Missouri. A current list of those individuals can be found here.
The following is a partial list of the more common agreements types: consultant, facilities use, intellectual property rights, leases, license agreements, memoranda of understanding, non-disclosure non-university use of university equipment, facilities and resources agreements, off campus event booking/catering/banquetagreements, performance, power of attorney agreements, professional services, research grants and contracts, speaker.
