Craig Adams, director of the Environmental Research Center and Mathes Chair, was recently elected to the USA National Committee (USANC) of the International Water Association (IWA). The IWA has 10,000 individual and 400 corporate members worldwide from 130 different countries.
The role of the USANC is to represent the USA members, in addition to a number of professional water and wastewater organizations, within the IWA. The USANC is active in planning, coordinating, and organizing IWA conferences in the USA, as well as enhancing memberships and participation of students, academics, and practitioners from the water and wastewater fields.
