Former department chair’s wife passes away

Jeanne Senne, wife of Dr. Joseph H. Senne Jr. (professor emeritus and former chair of civil, architectural and environmental engineering) died March 23 in Rolla. She was 87. Jeanne loved music and the violin. She played in the St. Louis Philharmonic and for orchestras at Iowa State and Missouri S&T. Funeral services are private. A public memorial service will be held in the near future. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made through the First Presbyterian Church in Rolla (919 E. 10th St., 65401), to the Senne Civil Engineering Scholarship Fund at Missouri S&T or to the American Cancer Society.
