Five representatives from Missouri S&T have been chosen for the Administrative Leadership Development Program. The training kicks off with a one-week intensive program at the Lake of the Ozarks in April, followed by periodic follow-up sessions on campus during the remainder of the year. This year’s class members are:
— Patty Frisbee, director, New Student Programs
— Paul Hirtz, assistant director, Student Design and Experiential Learning Center
— Cheryl McKay, manager, electronic marketing communications
— Mark Mullin, director, athletics
— Jim Sigler, general manager and producer, KMST
The Administrative Leadership Development Program was implemented several years ago as the primary professional development vehicle available for professional staff within the UM System. Participants are selected from each of the four campuses through a competitive application process; the number of applicants has been increasing each year. A similar program is available for faculty, but the ALDP experience is designed exclusively for staff.
