Professor Mark Dunster from San Diego State University is visiting UMR’s department of mathematics and statistics this week. Dunster will give a talk on "resonance and almost nonuniqueness in the scattered field of a dielectric circular cylinder" at 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 19, in Room G5 of the Rolla Building). This interdisciplinary topic will be of interest to faculty and graduate students from several UMR departments.
