Third bomb threat, third hoax

At 12:44 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 6, an unidentified caller to the UMR Police Department reported a bomb in "the building" set to detonate in 15 minutes. UMR PD evacuated the Campus Support Facility for approximately 35 minutes while police investigated the call. No bomb was found and the deadline passed, so faculty, staff and students were allowed to return to the building.
Similar threats were made on Monday, Sept. 3, and Wednesday, Sept. 5. UMR Police indicate they’re making progress in the investigation to identify the caller.
Due to technical difficulties, notices of the first two bomb threats weren’t delivered to the student listserv. The problem has now been resolved.
