Three UMR researchers recently talked to The NewsHour with Jim Lehrer about the future of bridges in the wake of the Minneapolis collapse. The researchers participating in the program included Dr. John Myers, interim director of the national University Transportation Center at UMR; Dr. Genda Chen, interim director of the Center for Infrastructure Engineering Studies at UMR; and Dr. Lokesh Dharani, Curators’ Professor of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at UMR.
