Memorial service information for Brian Blaha

A memorial service for Ph.D. candidate Brian Blaha will be held at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Ballwin, Mo, on Saturday, July 14. Visitation will start at noon and the service will start at 1 p.m. All those in the UMR community who knew, loved and respected Brian are invited to attend. Blaha recently lost a long and courageous battle with cancer. He would have completed his doctorate in computer engineering in 2007 had the cancer not intervened. An obituary notice is available in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
In lieu of flowers, the Blaha family suggests memorial contributions to the Brian Blaha Scholarship at UMR. Donations may be sent to UMR, 212 Parker Hall, Rolla, Mo, 65409.
