The Fall Walking Challenge included 14 teams, 114 participants and more than 3 million steps walked collectively. The chemistry department was the winning group with more than 300,000 steps. Healthy for Life, the university’s health and wellness program, is sponsoring a Subway lunch for the team with the highest average steps. The average number of steps to beat for week two is 97,669.33. Congratulations to all the teams participating — nearly all have increased their average steps.
