On Wednesday, July 9, Gov. Mike Kehoe signed Missouri Senate Bill 89, which officially designates Veterans Day (Nov. 11) as a paid holiday for all University of Missouri System employees. S&T has updated its academic calendar accordingly.

Honor our veterans Nov. 11
Join inclusion and engagement and the Student Veterans Resource Center to celebrate Veterans Day noon-1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 11, in Leach Theatre. Refreshments will be provided, and university historian Dr. Larry Gragg will give opening remarks.

1,064 flags placed to honor veterans
